My favorite part was being on air at WLUW 88.7. I had friends who said they’d listen at home, so I felt pressured to do it well, but in an exciting way! I had so much fun picking out my own songs and adding my commentary live on the radio. The live aspect made it all the better!
My favorite thing from this week was getting to be on WLUW 88.7. It felt like a lot of responsibility, especially because I had friends listening at home, but that factor motivated me to do well on air. I got to choose my songs, and add my own commentary, which made me feel very professional.

My favorite thing on the trip was Navy Pier. The man on the street assignment simulated to a tee what being a beat reporter is all about. I hope to continue in this path in my career.
